  Designer quality, environmentally friendly shopping totes at the low cost of 99 cents each. Offer customers a sturdy way to carry their groceries, while providing funding for the Elizabeth Haub Foundation, an international, non-profit organization that supports the establishment of legislation addressing environmental concerns. Proceeds from the sale of these bags have resulted in the donation of more than $688,000 to the Foundation since 2006.

• Providing recycling bins in all stores to allow anyone to return plastic grocery bags, or bring in dry-cleaning plastic, shrink wrap, etc.

• Placing Coinstar Machines in our stores to collect and recycle coins and put them back into circulation.
